Eleanor is survived by her sisters, Anna Klippel, Dorothy Hill; and sister-in-law Ivy Clifton; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers John, Bill and Douglas. Eleanor was born on September 7, 1920 in Plumas, MB to Wilhelm Pahl and Margareta Preisentanz. It was from Plumas that the family moved to St. Andrews. It was there that she met and married Victor Clifton in 1951. They resided in the Goldstone House on Goldstone Road. Eleanor worked hard on the farm. She loved doing crafts and making things. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to service time. Interment to follow in the churchyard cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to the Betel Home for the excellent care she received and the many friendships she made. In lieu of flowers donations many be made to the Recreation Department Tea Account, Betel Home Foundation, 212 Manchester Ave., Selkirk, MB R1A 0B6.
